frese
Genuine from VW the rears are 120 each . Didn't ask the cost of fronts. Can they be bought anywhere else for less. Or what others are on the market? What are others using on their standard GTi's?Or maybe go a touch lower (not coilovers).thanks
Koop
Eibach do a 35mm lowering spring kit which will be slightly lower & should be reasonably comfortable. Or there's various others do decent progressively wound 40mm springs, FK, Spax, etc.

Silver!
Check for oe replacements. Are you sure that price from VW doesn't include fitting?
frese
No that was just supplied. Only 1 rear spring in the UK and they would have to get another sent from Germany. (strange that they would not stock a pair in UK ).I thought the price was for a pair, but then he said no thats each. There seem to be non genuine for much less. Maybe I will go with the Eibach as I know they r quality (have them on the T5) just depends on where the ride height ends up. A touch lowerer would be good, but I don't want it to sit any higher.Anyone fitted them to a GTi ? Was there a change in the ride height?
