allenlupo Posted April 25, 2013 Report Share Posted April 25, 2013 anyone have an idea on thisI drove 200miles in my 1.0mpi tues, on 13" banded wheels so sat a 4krpm for 4 hours . anyway about 20 miles from home I noticed a sound whistle, got it back checked the oil with was like piss water, and the car on startup had a mad chain rattle scratch sound, I topped the oil up with10w40 and this sound is still there but dies off after 10 secs of running. but it does it on every start up its weird the cars running fine but sounds screwed on the turn of the key lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not sure if it's in the same place on the 1.0 but on the Gti it's on the right of the engine block as you look at it.
