seat cleaning

as the title suggests what is the best way of cleaning the seats

as the ones i have a really grubby,just bought the car

can you take them of as covers and put them in the washing machine????

or even take them off and pressure wash them,

advice please

The rear seats are easiest to clean, use a small screw driver to prize away the long clips for the top rears, unhook the metal rods and be very careful to pull them out the sleeves, they will fit, just persevere. The bottoms are easier, prize the cover from the metal base, remove the metal base and repeat unhooking. They can they go in the washing machine (the metal rods are different sizes so keep a not of which ones go where) as for the front ones, I found it far too much hassle to remove the covers so you're best scrubbing them by hand and using a wet vac. I've done this with good results. Hope this helps
