Hi

Recently done the front brakes on lupo1.4 s

Changed the pads and bled the fluid

They still 5h1T

Is this normal for these cars as the brakes on my golf gti are mega!!

I appreciate the golf likely to be better but the ones on the lupo are truly poor!!!

Perhaps change fluid as well?

The drums/shoes on back look ok

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Has it got an abs modulator? Could have air in the modulator? Bleed it, do a couple of abs stops so the modulator fires and then re-bleed. Or check the brake pipes for balooning ect.

Saying all that i dont know lupo's very well at all so i could be talking out my arse, wait for someone with some car specific info to come along :)

Do you drive the Golf more then the Lupo? I find if I swap cars it takes me a couple of days to get used to the pedal. Until I get used to it I'm either breaking my neck hitting the pedal to hard or nearly hitting the car in front by not putting enough pressure on the pedal.
