Vinnyzf
Hi I'm kind of new to this forum. I bought my Arosa on the 19th of February 2013. I did have a lot of plans for it, but my insurance is limiting it a lot Anyway, here's pics!No Lows First came the De-BadgeThen a new stereo! Can't beat a bit of your own music! Not a bad headunit for £50. More pics to come when I get more done!!

Vinnyzf
It's quite well kept. Full service history and everything Just a couple of rust spots on the sills. Still got them to sort out. Any advice?

Vinnyzf
It was a nice day in Leicester today. Sunny, still quite cold, but it's nice to have sun Gave her a little clean because she was looking a little worse for wear after a couple of motorway runs. Vinnyzf
Started the rusted door sills. Rust central! Few holes appeared so getting them filled and re painted this weekend I hope..

Vinnyzf
The one worse for wear. Does it need welding? The not so bad one Also lined my home made parcel shelf! It isn't a scuff near the left speaker, and I know it's bowing in the middle, wood is too thin What d'ya think?
James827
thats a tough call, the last one isnt even a hole! what are you using to take it back?, what i used took that pitted stuff back to super clean metal!also id remove that door seal as i can see more bubbles you tecnically SHOULD weld them, but you can get away with filling or fiber glass as long as its done propperly
Vinnyzf
Oooh yeah I'll have a look. I haven't finished taking it all back yet, but need to be done soon as it's open to the elements now.. I'm gonna fill them, as it's easier. I don't know a welder and it could get expensive. James827
if they were any bigger or lowers down you would have to weld it, or an MOT testers hammer would go straight through it
Vinnyzf
Haha yeah that's what my Dad says. It's not structural, because it's just had an mot. So filler will do
James827
Technically it is as its part of the sill, but some MOT testers arent fussy if its a few bubbles
