shaunyshaun1234
Hi folks,Got the chance to buy some cookie cutters (15x7j all round et52) and 20mm hub adapters! My car is lowered on kw's and want to know if I would need arches rolled to get these to fit comfortably and would the et be ok?Thanks Edited January 9, 2013 by shaunyshaun1234
Sammy Lupo
your final offset will be 32 so they will tuck a little I think on a lupo they sit flush with the arch around et25 dont think they will need to be rolled, but im not the best at this stuff
ministig
Sure they are 8's?Cookie cutters are normally 7" in that offset. Aims for et25 front and et15 rear if you are going for the stretch and flush look.
shaunyshaun1234
Yeah sorry, they are 7j!! I will edit the post!Have you ever heard of cookies with et52?
shaunyshaun1234
What about 7j wheels with an et of 35? Obviously im not on about cookies anymore!!
ministig
Yer they will be ok.Will tuck all roundEdit: And the cookie cutters are similar specs to the tele dials so 52 sounds about right Edited January 9, 2013 by ministig
VolkswagenDan
8j et25 sits rather flush with the rear arches. Use willtheyfit.com to work out how they will sit. Ill tell you now, 7j et32 will tuck
Deadmetal
This is 15x7 et 27, so et 32 will sit 5mm further in.
VolkswagenDan
Not being a knob, but are you absolutely 100% sure they're 7J not 8?It's just, my friends 8's sit only a little further out, certainly not an inch further
ministig
From a 7 to an 8 It would only be 1/2 inch further out with the same offset as 1/2 inch would be added to the rear of the wheel as well. Therefore the outside edge of an 8 will sit approximately 12mm further out than a 7. VolkswagenDan
Oh of course! Well pointed out!
Deadmetal
Rota only made my wheels in 7j. If they made them in 8j I would have already got them lol.As wee little' Stig said, an extra inch and same offset would only be half an inch extra each side.
