BlackBeast
Help needed, the wipers work fine on the intermediate setting (pressing the stalk down), the stalk stays in the down position on its own, but for them to be on constantly I have to keep the stalk pressed up, if I let go, the stalk drops to the neutral position and the wipers obviously stop. I have no constant normal speed or fast speed wipers. What could the problem be? Fuse? Relay? Stalk? Motor?
Pete
If you're having to hold the stalk up yourself to stop it falling to the off position this should indeed give you a big clue as to what is at fault.
BlackBeast
Sorry, it was a stupid question, but I bought the car in this condition and wanted confirmation of what it was. Will the stalk be repairable or will it have to be replaced?
