mccrindle
Hi,after test fitting my new wheels and disovering that they catch on the brake pad stay pin, i set about buying some spacers. I have 10mm spacers for the front however this is the next issue, when i was fitting the wheel the spigot only sat on the hub ever so slighly, probably about 4mm of it for the wheel to touch. Will i be ok to run these or shall i look for some hub centric spacers with a spigot mounting lip on them?cheers
ministig
You won't be able to get hubcentric in 10mm as they wouldn't be able to have the centric part.If you upped them to say 15mm you might just be able to get them hubcentricEdit, unless you could get some custom 10mm ones that would centre on the wheel (without the spigot) and still be centring on the hub at the same time Edited October 4, 2012 by ministig
mccrindle
Yeah, thought that would be the case. I'm gonna put them on and take it down the road then inspect. Most likely going to opt for 15mm though just for the peace of mind of "proper" spacers ha
chris c
You can get some 10mm huncentric ones by eds or similar name for around £
