Basically I've plugged resistor in to clockspring where airbag would have plugged in and when I turn ignition on it goes out and re-appears a few money's later. Any ideas why this is?

PRICE DROP! Want a quick sale as I've seen car I really want a cant afford to miss out on in my opinion £2000 takes it or £1800 without clutch being replaced. Clutch has a couple of thousand miles left but I'm picky and like things done properly lol
-
Well there's same age and more mileage 1litres going for 2200/2300 on autotrader so it's a fair price. I'm prepared to drop a little bit but I think it's a fair price so will leave it as it is for time being

Advert now posted in classifieds

Basically, I'm definitely selling up now, got my sights on another car that I've loved for years and can afford one so the car will be advertised in a few weeks at £2500 FIRM without the rsl cults and adapters. It will be £2950 with wheels and adapters. She's only just ticked over 47k! Car will come with fresh MOT, new clutch and oil change. I feel that this is more than a fair price considering I paid 2500 for her 2years back and have spunked loads of money on her. More to follow. Jacob

I don't have a pic but it's the taffeta green 1.4 with Schmidt th lines, Porsche tombstones and glittered roof

There may be a way around it as my mate runs mk2 rears on his lupo

Evening all, Basically a couple of weeks ago I fitted a momo and the slip ring pretty much just fell out. So I got a new one went to fit today and I've buggered the bits behind. The problem I have now is that my indicators don't work, full beam doesn't either and my sidelights only work regardless on the dial being on sides or main. I'm going to get a new indicator motor but do I need anything else? Jacob

need help with what engine i can put in my little arosa
mccrindle replied to Ryans Arosa's topic in Tuning
Depends on your budget, knowledge, spare time and so on. 1.6polo gti is quite a simple one which ill be undertaking soon. If your confident, have a bit of dollar to chuck at it and can afford to have car off road for a while then you could look at a 1.8t and there's a few people who have done a 1.9tdi swap as well. Like the above post could be just as well off getting a sport or gti -
Yeah I've got the how to thread saved to bookmarks. Just after a bit more detail on bits needed really, can't see the swap being that hard either as I'm a hgv mechanic. Car has power steering so won't need to swap subframe

Cheers mate, I see you asked about this a while back. Did you go through with it in the end? If so how did you find it?
