Luppy Jack
Hi,I am planning to buy a set of FK high sport coil overs and and set of 15" alloys.I want to fit an 8j et 20 on the rear and a 7j et15 on the front, with 175/50 tyres all round (probably Hankook)Im hoping to lower so that the arch sits about 1/2" to an inch above the tyre (apologize I don't know the size of drop in mm ), hopefully to avoid speedbump assle,My question is will the arch/s need to be rolled? If so would it just be rear, or front aswell? Please be gentle on any ignorance-im new to this moding game Any help is much appreciated,Jack. Deadmetal
Yes is the simple answer. You will deffo need the rears rolling and you might aswell do the fronts as you'll very likely end up going lower than you first intented.
Luppy Jack
Thanks for the reply mate I think ill get a quote from arch enemy, heard good things about them.Would i also be possible to run a 175/50 on the 8j rear and a 165/50 on the 7j front? This would obviously give the front a little more stretch as theree is hardly any on 175's.What is the general opinion on stretching the front, is handling etc affected at all? Ashh
You've heard good things about arch enemy? All I'm gunna say is have a go yourself, don't waste your money on 'professionals'
marcusgrant
had mine done at stylehaus and it was a great job, i would recommend taking the drive, it doesnt take long to do
Luppy Jack
I considered it ash but I don't know anybody I can borrow a roller off, and they're £100+ on ebay so why not let the professionals do it Unless you mean scaffold/rubber mallets/jack techniques which scare me somewhat Cheers for the recommendation Marcus, might considered stylehaus once i've passed my test!Anybody heard of the work quality of 'body and tuning' based in mansfield? (specifically arch rolling- been quoted £25 per arch depending on liners etc)

Ashh
Rollers are 100ish, I'm 99% sure my mate paid 140 for arch enemy to do his arches, and they are now ****ed. I paid 20£ to borrow a roller and heat gun, and mine are absolutely pukka
