Help, Fan is not kicking in.

Recommended Posts

Tested the fan today and it works, so it could be the thermostat?

And it over heated yesterday in a traffic jam.

Any other help/advice?

"John" - Is that the plug which is located below the top hose?

If it were the stat it would overheat all the time, not just when stationary.

AFAIK there is only one sensor on the rad, which is the fan switch, on the right hand side of the rad as you look at it from in front of the car

Oright well it's ok went there is air getting to it and I've had it sat on drive running with no issues. But it didn't like the traffic jam lol.
