My piston rings could do with doing at some point but the local garage for local people said I'd be better off swapping the engine. Having a look on the 'bay yesterday & there's no AFK's atm but a few 100bhp 6n2 AFH's. Should be a straight swap onto the existing mounts & I assume I'd need the ECU but would I need the loom? Engine mount needs to change as the belts are different. Wiring is different as well I think. Read that thread I think everythings in it! This has got me thinking evil thoughts...if your going to go for the AFH you may aswell do the polo gti engine, surley it will be identical in terms of fitting as the AFH?
