Kieranbolton Posted April 11, 2012 Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 I always make sure i have fuel in the tank (atleast 1/4) however, i was caught out today as i had to drive over the center of newcastle and back, then around newcastle at work (cheapest i found was 1.45p) So decided for the first time ever to let it run into the red.Anyway, coming up the slip road and over the round about, the engine went into limp mode, (just hit the petrol light) and wouldnt rev over 3k? So i just guessed it was because it hit the light...I then filled it up at tesco, (1.32p) and the EPC light came on, however after the fuel guage went to the top, it went off and engine revved fineIs this just because i hit the fuel light or not?Kieran Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
