You won't have to notch the chassis unless you want to go really low, especially on 15s

thankyou Koop, how sure are you of this? Because i here sooooo many people saying the driveshaft rubs on the chassis.........and im looking to go low, but just high enough to go over speed bumps :) I dont know if to go 15s or 14s really, but i cant wait to get My Loop :)

There are loads of peeps with lowered GTIs on here who haven't notched the chassis, I really wouldn't worry about it

Mines on 14s and lowered on coilovers and seems to catch the wheels a bit! Duno about the driveshaft though... Just got to go nice and slow over the speed bumps :)

but apparently the driveshafts are thicker on gtis and tend to catch x

thankyou matey. i dont intend on going silly kinda low with it mate. just so i can get it looking nice on some 15" wheels with a little stretch

I'm nearly all the way down on 14s with no problems except from really harsh bumps in the road that I sometimes can't avoid.

You definitely won't need a notch.
