rasko06
Ive fitted a sub to my 53 plate lupo, (using OEM beta head unit).Just wondering where the best place connect the remote cable to? Ive been told cigrette lighter, however with the car off (no keys in ignition) my cigrette lighter still works. which surely means there is a constant power feed to this? If the remote is connected here the sub would be on constantly? Please correct me if im wrong. any help is welcomed! Im a little bit stuck! Many thanks! Adam R4
There should be a switched live on the back of your radio from your ignition, just splice into that and hey presto.

polariskid
Generally blue I beleive, might even be labelled 'Remote' but not sure about the OEM unit.
JoeA
Yeah, it wont be blue, it comes from the car not the h/u (when you have the oem h/u) its either red or yellow i think, get a voltage tester? RobG
In the block in the bottom right, it's the one in the middle next to COM.Depending on if you're using that block to provide the feed for your amps, the yellow cable tail usually provides a remote on wire (my autoleads on did anyways)
