99 V 20v turbo conversion price drop pics added

As I bought her she was a 1.0 e with roughly 78000 on her, the engine was mint but gearbox was kaput. My intentions were always to convert it with a 20v turbo. I garaged her up till the right donor car came up. Nay on a year! Then a mark 4 golf GTI on a private plate came up came up with side damage ( ie drivers side wheels were both bent under the car ) the golf had 70 odd thou on it but ran like a dream if I'm being honest. I had my mate go over it who's a time served mechanic with his own garage/MOT center and he gave the engine/gearbox a good check Obviosly only to look at, listen to and check the usual and he gave it a good bill of health. He did say as its only a check to change the problem things like the cam belt, pulleys, water pump, all the gaskets, coil packs, plugs, a whole new clutch as in everything. As I didn't want to have problems after a few weeks/months as in honesty to change things like that is pretty much engine out within reason as you can imagine there isnt much room in the bay. When the engine was being put in the car everything that was needed was genuine VW parts even down to bolts. My car was the 1st Lupo that ACR had converted with a 20v and took a long time to get it to fit right. Coz if anybody knows ACR then the 2 andy's wouldn't release it if wasn't 100% so that speaks for itself.

So getting to specs and stuff like that:

Engine:

Engine conversion by ACR

Solid heat treated drive shafts ( not golf ones cut then welded up and sleeved )

Custom made engine mounts by ACR

Golf 20v turbo 150bhp engine

Golf turbo 5 speed box

150bhp turbo replaced with 180bhp Audi tt turbo

Custom made radiator

Custom made front mount inter cooler

Custom made Solid boost pipes

Custom made turbo down pipe mated with golf cat to pass emissions mated to a 3" pipe to a custom made TVR carbon fibre race can exhaust

Recirculation dump valve

Live generic map by Big fish tuning

Audi 225bhp fuel pump

Pink injectors

White powdercoated inlet manifold and rocker cover

Suspension:

Ta technix coil overs saw less than 100 mile before being garaged up ( where it is now )

Brakes:

Full front and back G60 disc set up with rotor discs all round and pretty much brand new G60 pads

Interior:

Full GTI black plastics

GTI black carpet

Golf GTI black leather handbrake

Golf GTI black leather gear gator mated to Lupo gear knob

Audi TT knee bars ( unfitted )

Boost gauge ( unfitted )

Gloss black centre console, vents, T piece, light switch

Mark 4 golf GTI turbo recaro interior. Re-trimmed by MJ interiors. If you know cars and appreciate top notch quality then you will no MJ and know it does not come cheap.

Wheels:

BBS RX2 split rim alloys with black powdercoated centres and polished lips.

Also comes with a lot of spares to much to list!
