kingsley11
Did this yesterday:As you might of seen when i first had the car it had a tow bar fitted to it, so had a hole cut out of the bumper, and uses a different type metal support bar behind the bumper?! because of that.Need a re-spray now. Also removed lower bumper as its damaged. time to get things back to how they should be.So now im driving round with it looking a mess at the moment. fatttty
Nice work dude, I found the pointed end of a sharp Stanley blade the best to get the caps off the seat runner covers. I buggered mine up just like you did the first time I did mine. After that used a blade and must have ha the seats in and out the car a dozen times with no problems Gti headlights will be gooood! Look forward to the updates.Alex
kingsley11
Thanks Alex great little tip, very helpful:) The car has been on TA Technix coilovers for a while now and they're terrible. Ever since they've been on the rear top mounts have knocked like crazy. its really **** and i can't take it anymore, so was wondering if these would work:http://www.psituning.com/product.php/20097/polybush_polyurethane_top_mounts__pair____golf_mk4_etc___lupo_polo_6n_2I know it cleary shows the front suspension in the picture, so if these wouldn't work it's a case of brand new oem ones then? Thanks everyone
