Alva - New engine and more paint problems
Arosaproject replied to Amber_Nunny's topic in Member's Cars
Just like me with cars, say I'm not going to touch it and then I do lol Mines coming apart as it should be going for paint at the start of the year and a few other changes, probably just paint and get the new wheels on next year but will see what happens -
I just used my thumbs to remove that stuff on my MK1 arosa and auto glym sticky remover

Nice work, does the gti clock work? As I was told it doesn't work when you plug the clocks into a non gti? Plus the temp gauge for outside the car -

Lovely G40, looks so clean and tidy, the seats have made a massive difference to the inside of your lupo I have a few black plastic interior trims, if your after making it grey to black, got rear pockets under (that are under rear door cards) centre console, under dash shelfs, left and right plus a few other bits here and there, send me a pm

What Scotty is saying is you need to measure when steel is on how wide you can make them cos ie if your steel is not that far away from arch going from a 6J steel to a 9J steel would maybe make them to wide and you would of wasted money. Unless you put on some crazy stretch and camber like crazy lol

I'm not very good with eta etc But my new wheels are 5x112, eta45 7.5J and running 15mm front adapters and 20mm rear and the fronts are close, quite close to adapter but wheel sits perfect, You mite wanna check size's etc I'm not very good with eta etc But my new wheels are 5x112, eta45 7.5J and running 15mm front adapters and 20mm rear and the fronts are close, quite close to adapter but wheel sits perfect, You mite wanna check size's etc

Cheers wolf, the rims on it at the moment are golf 16" a mate vwcal (the owner before me) put them on and they suit it very well, but needed to put my stamp on it So by luck the rims I wanted came up so I snapped them up, any wider and they would of been a tight fit Got to source an exhaust as its blowing In the normal front down pipe place (spent the exhaust money on the wheels lol but was worth it)
-
Cheers Koop Don't think I will ever sell them, can't stop looking at them lol (there in my front haha) ?

Surprised i haven't had one comment, but oh well im still going to be posting So I've been swapping a few things here and there between the loop and arosa, haven't taken any pic's of this tho as its just a few trim bits, rear wiper swapped but....... Teddy wheels would suit this, if I remember right they use to come on the skoda pickup as an extra I've seen them air brushed with really good detail, looked like a real teddy haha It's good you got the lupo fixed, be good to see what you do next
-
I've got that head unit in my loop, I've just hidden it behind the head unit as I don't use it lol but will be swapping units between the loop and arosa as I prefer my pioneer double din than this, it's good but the pioneer has a few extra features Nice little loop
-
Need to find out what my new ones are called now, all I know is what there off
