JoshB&D Posted November 20, 2011 Report Share Posted November 20, 2011 I had a bar of petrol in the car, then that happened and my seat belt tensioner went off, So that's stuck now, but I lost all of my petrol and it's gone into the red And the lights came on. Haakon Posted November 20, 2011 Report Share Posted November 20, 2011 I would think that there is a much bigger chance that the bump has made the device in the tank that measures the level go wonky, than you actually have suddenly lost the actual petrol itself? Was thinking there may be an inertia cut off so if a bang, like the one you had which must've been pretty bad to set off your seatbelts then maybe the fuel supply has been stopped to the engine.For future reference though, when you need help quite badly try to involve more details in your problem, as I reckon most people have looked at your description and thought 'WTF?
