windscreen removal

i had my Polo's windscreen changed yesterday, you need a stupidly long Stanley knife and boiling water, cut out most of the surrounding sealant then pour boiling water down the sides to make the sealant soft then from the inside, start gently hitting the screen until it moves, this is how the AA geez did it haha

Hope they don't care about the paint.

Also worth noting that pro's know how to fit a screen and have the best sealers etc, Lupo screens are well known for leaking and if you don't get it right the screen can pop out in a crash and the roof will just fold if you roll it. ...and no a mate didn't tell me this.
