It cant be the sync as that'd make it crunch. Maybe it's got too much oil in it?I change my gear oil every 6000 miles to keep it fresh, which probably helps it keep going. I also inject grease straight down the linkage rods every now and then too to keep it all supple.Its impossible to put too much oil in the box, you fill it till it comes out.
