Brake dust issues?....

Recommended Posts

How de do

Now the loop (sport) is being used daily, doing around 150 miles a week, at the end of the week the front wheels are black! seems way to much break dust for the amount im breaking...

Wondering if any one has the same problem?

Im running ebc green stuffs at the front, arent they ment to be less break dust!? Or could this be the problem?

Provided they arent dragging and the dust is near enought the same I cant see their being a problem.

Never had greenstuffs so I dont know what they are like for dust, 99hjhm has them though so may be able to comment

I also use Pagid pads.

Sticking brakes is caused by the caliper not working properly - the pressure that is applied when you press the pedal isnt being releived properly. This could be due to corrosion on the piston in the caliper, a internally collapsed brake line, or just old dust stopping the caliper from sliding smoothly, or because jesus wants to punish you.
