PhilM
Basically the car needs a new clutch and is booked in to get one early April, but for now I've been left tightening the clutch cable every few days to get me by.. The inevitable has happened and I've now run out of thread on the bolt at the transmission end of the cable. What I need to know is where else can I adjust the tension in the cable? Obviously it has two ends and goes through various junctions but is it going to be tricky doing it on my own and in the dark (I REALLY need the car for work tomorrow).I'm about ready to drive this car into the ocean and I'd consider not climbing out
Defcon5
Are you sure its the clutch itself and not the pedalbox?

PhilM
All signs do point to a f*cked up pedal box, but I've been told by a mechanic that it is just the clutch needs replacing.. I'm just going to have to make do for a few weeks I think, sh*t fun to drive though.Cheers for replies
