Lol I haven't got a reader's ride yet nah, it's too predictable what people are going to say (lower) so until I get that covered I'm reluctant to say much! You got one yourself?
  3. Hey mate told you I'd get you a pic a while back!

Really need one of these not overly fussy on condition as long as the paintwork isn't too scratched or bubbled! I'm in Belfast so NI would be preferable, not sure if posting is a good idea.. Cheers!

  6. I'll follow template rules but I don't know very much about this car - selling it on behalf of a friend. Make: Volkswagen Model: Lupo 1.0L MOT: Not sure but will find out - WILL PASS TAX: Again, will have to find out. Engine size: 999cc Fuel type: Petrol Description including modifications: Completely standard car right down to the dealer sticker on the window. One elderly owner from new, used minimally hence 12,880 on the clock. Rear seats probably never sat on. Paintwork is immaculate - like new. Steel wheels with trims, same tires from the factory. Blue and black/grey interior. Three doors, four seats, group 2 insurance, 50BHP, 60+ MPG, fantastic for first time buyer/learner, great potential project car. Really clean example of a rare car no longer in production, I have never seen one with mileage this low! Location: Holywood, Northern Ireland. 7. Would it be dodgey to post a boodlid with glass to NI?..
  8. Sorry I know the bootlid isn't on the newest list but you mentioned it before and I didn't see any enquiries.. Still have it?
  9. I'll consider offers on these by the way!
  10. Hi there I have a set of Apex 40mm lowering springs never got round to putting them on the car as I'm now getting coilovers. They were only used for a few thousand miles by the last guy apparently. Sorry no pictures.. But they are yellow and look like lowering springs, hope that helps. These are £91.55 cheapest to buy new on eBay. £65.00 + P&P Cheers, Phil 07708 260752
  11. Haha!! Best avoid that place! I'll see if I can get some photo's on the phone and upload them. As for the spoiler I might be wrong but I think some sports came out of the factory with them? Only say it because I've seen one or two around with a spoiler on it and they were driven by middle aged women and definitely not modded! You'd be surprised what they might do if you ask when you're getting something else done.. I actually got some guy to 'throw' my springs on while he had the wheels off, he was only changing brake discs and pads - sucker!
  12. All signs do point to a f*cked up pedal box, but I've been told by a mechanic that it is just the clutch needs replacing.. I'm just going to have to make do for a few weeks I think, sh*t fun to drive though. Cheers for replies
  13. Has anyone had Montreal 2s on a Lupo? Do they fit? Obviously I would need adaptors and stuff, wondering about the ET and all that. Any photos would be good Cheers
  14. Basically the car needs a new clutch and is booked in to get one early April, but for now I've been left tightening the clutch cable every few days to get me by.. The inevitable has happened and I've now run out of thread on the bolt at the transmission end of the cable. What I need to know is where else can I adjust the tension in the cable? Obviously it has two ends and goes through various junctions but is it going to be tricky doing it on my own and in the dark (I REALLY need the car for work tomorrow). I'm about ready to drive this car into the ocean and I'd consider not climbing out
  15. Love the look of this lupo.. I have a sport with the Bathursts on it and they look really well, very factory styled. Once you get your camber done they sit really nicely in the arches especially as mine is a similar height to yours, only mine is lowered on springs.. Crap I know. I also picked up a spoiler and think it gives the car a really good posture while keeping mods subtle. As for the exhaust surely a cheap garage would be able to weld/bend it up a few inches with very little effort?! Maybe it's one of those things you casually 'mention' when getting something else done..
  16. Looks like they sell them in the Netherlands mate!
  17. Followed Mike's picture guide - did 8 holes on the smooth air box wall with a 10mm drill bit. I'd recommend it if you're bored some day.. Only gets loud when you floor it or hit about 3000rpm
  18. Did the drill thing the other night, sounds f*ckin weaker!! lol
