Its not economically achievable as everything is different on the GTI (it does not share any panel with the non GTI)

Lots of threads in the search ^^^ on this where people have asked

Where your indicator are........these are side lights and high beams on the GTI and the light unit is larger and a similar story with the main head light where they are organised differently so rewireing would be needed.

You need GTI wings to match the bumber as it is all wider and so on.

You can get some after market kits that kind of look like a GTI, but I would just get a GTI

Would work out cheaper in the end, by the time the kit is fitted, painted and then everything declared on insurance

This has been done quite a few times on Lupo's in Germany.

Personally, if you have got a fair amount of money to spend and have the time to do it, it can be pulled off pretty well. But in the end it would probably be cheaper just to get a GTI, as they are getting cheaper and cheaper.

Here is the best one I have seen.. Lupo GTD, SDI in Adriatic blue, with a GTI facelift. I think he is upgrading it to a 1.9 PD TDI now.
