lupo_jack
im having to put spacers on because my front calipers are rubbing up against the back of the wheel i think the person before me put 1.4 calipers on to my 1l

techy
you will only need like a 3mm spacer not a 10mm spacer
Bickerton
For the money on a set of proper spacers you could get a set of calipers suitable for 13" wheels for about 20% of the cost.ET17 is a bit odd and oyu will look like you are drivign a lego car.It would appear that wobble bolts and spacers are a nono too having researched it a bit, not sure if it's here say but even the theory if a little ominous
lupo_jack
you will only need like a 3mm spacer not a 10mm spacereven if it has 1.4l calipers? because i put my wheel onto the hub and it looked like there was quite a distance from the wheel to the hub

treblet
Even with a 3mm spacer you'll have et -10 which will stick out a lot and potentially be undriveable and will probably look ridiculous.

techy
you can grind the calipers down abit, did it on my old car and it was fine

treblet
You must have 1.4 Sport/GTI calipers as other 1.4 calipers are for 239mm brakes not 256mm. Or your wheels are just a strange shape and foul badly on the inside.

Bickerton
thanks mate. i take it your dont like? and tbh i was thinking about grinding the calipers but i dont trust myself tbhIts the fact the inside of the wheels are almost outside the arches that i don't like and with 10mm spacers they would be even further out
99hjhm
1.0L and 1.4 calipers are the same as far as I know. Sport calipers are different, but if you had those, 13" wheels wouldn't go over the top.
