Cooper_GTI Posted October 8, 2010 Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 Has anyone fitted a H3 HID kit to their main beam on a gti?The standard yellow bulbs really let the front end down at night.Dont want crappy halfrauds blue bulbs either. In my experience, they dont give out as much light as a standard yellow bulb and i like to "drive" my gti, so good lights are a must really. I was looking at 100W as that's all you can get from eBay xD> me thinking H3 100W would show me higher powered bulbs :Sanyone heard of the brand Ring? 99hjhm Posted October 9, 2010 Report Share Posted October 9, 2010 This is something that crossed my mind to do, but not really worth the effort.A H3 kit could be used in the main beam units, they are only single filiment bulbs anyway, H4's are twin.
