dubber72 Posted September 27, 2010 Report Share Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) hi all well after some looking about a picked up a a lupo gti 2001 y reg 5 speed a/con s/roof etc for £2900. it was cat c at some point in its life but the mileage checked out with a vehicle check at 24700 was genuine. also has all the the vw reciepts for the parts that were needed to put it back on the road and the vic check as well. well happy with it at the moment and so is the missus. feels like a mk1 gti abit puts a smile on your face. will get some pictures up soon. but i'm after a standard air box and engine cover as it has a k&n at the moment but if anybody has one let me know cheers jay Edited September 27, 2010 by dubber72 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dubber72 Posted September 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 27, 2010 Indeed, what needed repairing?bonnet head lights raditor grill bumper outer plastic skin slam panel off the top of my head. working away so full info is at home with the gti. inner wings show no sign of any damage. i've bought the lupo to use its not going to be a show pony. but well happy with it. sure some people get nervous with cars that have been damaged repaired but if you know what to look for then you can get great car for not alot of money.
