Emma1985
Hi allHave recently serviced my lupo gti but the service spanner is still flashing under the mileage. Any ideas on how to knock it off?? I know when I had my golf GTTDI you had to do something with the mileage button reset and the ignition, just wondering if its a similar thing here. Thanks
ben.g
i believe this is the method push the button in (the one that resets the trip) keep it pressed then turn the key to ignition, and keeping it pressed, wait for three lines to appear, keep it pressed until you trip is restored

treblet
You need to turn the ignition round to the second click and make sure you don't take your finger off the trip reset button.
RobG
erm i tried this and it didnt work, any other suggestions?!Key in, ignition off, push and hold the mileage trip reset button. Turn key to on position so all lights come on but don't start the car. Keep holding the button down, wait about 10 seconds, the display will change to - - -. When it does this, release the button and your trip miles will return, then you can start the car as normal.
