2001gti
The turbo engines suck in places like qatar and the really hot humid places.id like to see them in as a constructor tho.
Gibbeth!
The majority of the pistonheads posts on the topic are very negative about how F1's going green and a 4-pot turbo goes against the image. If they get the same power from a smaller lighter engine, which will be just as loud, surely it'll just improve the show. Silver!
They were there back in the 80s and they reverted back to NA as they kept whooping ass!1987–1988Following the turbo domination, forced induction was allowed for two seasons before its eventual ban. The FIA regulations limited boost pressure, to 4 bars in qualification in 1987 for 1.5 L turbo; and allowed a bigger 3.5 L formula. These seasons were still dominated by turbocharged engines, the Honda RA167E V6 supplying Nelson Piquet winning the 1987 Formula One season on a Williams also winning the constructors championship, followed by TAG-Porsche P01 V6 in McLaren then Honda again with the previous RA166E for Lotus then Ferrari's own 033D V6.Quoted from www.wikipedia.org
