Jonny GTi
Hi, i have a 2005 lupo GTi, whilst turning the car off, the engine over-runs. This literally lasts for quarter of a second, but its really lumpy when shutting off. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks.

ry203
I used to have an old mini. It would over run because of the fuelling from the carb - did it more in the summer. The basic cause is that excess fuel or gasses are ignited from the heat already in the block after it's ran for a while. Not certain what could cause this in a modern fuel injected car though...
