Lupo_Jacko Posted March 3, 2010 Report Share Posted March 3, 2010 hey, i'm doing an assignment for uni and i need to compare two cars from 2 different classes, and i've been given a list to choose from like luckily theres a few dubs in there.so i've chosen a Polo from 2006 mk 5 is it? any way the one with the circle rear lights, against a Land rover discovery 3 i need to get some specs on each vehicle in relation to the chassis design such as:suspensionsteeringenginegearboxand chassis itself naturally all the standard parts, does anyone know any helpful information or any site i could get it from, even though i suppose i could try find a haynes manual but costs money i don't have ha! if anyone could help that'd great Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Philplop Posted March 3, 2010 Report Share Posted March 3, 2010 It's generally referred to as a mk7, but technically I think it's a mk4 facelift.mk1 = 86mk2 = 86cmk3 = mk2 faceliftmk4 = 6n = actual mk3mk5 = 6n2 = mk3 faceliftmk6 = 9n = actual mk4mk7 = 9n3 = mk4 faceliftand the mk8 has just come out, which is technically the mk5, or 6R.That's off the top of my head, so might be bullsh*t.
