Window and locking problem

Recommended Posts

Posting on behalf of a mate who hasnt got round to signing up yet.

He has no central locking, so has to lock the car with the keys, and if he does this from the drivers side, the front two electric windows go down!! confused.gif

So it has to be locked and unlocked from the passenger door.

Any ideas?

Door lock issue.

Probably full of water, doesn't take much to remove, had mine out today, new one is £100...

£100 for a new lock? Mine went and got a lock repair kit off ebay for £10 lol

Cheers for the replies!

He had a leaking issue with his sunroof a little while ago, something about where the water was ment to be escaping going somewhere else. You reckon this would have anything to do with it?

Would fitting an aftermarket alarm solve the problem? I guess it would work on the buttom but not using the key?
