I think the ultimate pedal car is the Audi 1:2 Auto Union Type C from a couple of years back.

But dubbers can get busy with making their own...

Type 2 Split Screen

Type 181 "Thing" This is excellent and a shame the project died so early on.

There's also a mini Meyer Manx buggy kit and the good old MK1 Golf Diesel was also available as a licenced pedal car.

A 1:3 Lupo GTI might be a good project!

Hi,

I'm the builder of the Mini-Thing, many thanks for your interest in that project!

Just a quick note to inform you that no, it's not a dead project! Just a lack of resources (time and a place to work on it!) that put a temporary pause on it.

But I'm currently finishing the construction of a small workshop in my garden, the project could be back on track within weeks...

All the best,

-Jim-

Hi Jim. That's brilliant news. I saw the thread not to long ago and thought it was one of the most ingenious things I'd seen. My Mum lives not too far from Antibes in Chateauneuf, I thing a holiday plaything for my one year old son is looking very tempting...
