Loopy Lupo
dunno about em really mate - think they have an alloy housing which will conduct heat more than bmc housing. until i find anyone who can prove to contrary i'm gonna get another bmc! zaza
QUOTE(Tigz)Poobah has one on his GTiSounded really nice, but Id rather have a BMCI think BMC is better than viper ,too!!
Ghisland
It depends, If you want more Torqueuse ViperIf you need higher max speedI think you may need BMC
Tigz™
I think a Viper will do the job.I knowe Chris used Samco hoseing throughout, and created a bigger air intake (The standard GTi tube is only about 1.5") I think a RR day is needed to test out these filters and see what is doing what as no one seems to know for sure. The BMC makes sense.Weather thats clever marketting or is th case I dont know, but it is sure fun hearing a Lupo TVR through the gears. tdwindustries
you can route the breather pipe back into the BMC with some custom bits - will still be a lot cheaper than 245 quid
Tigz™
Even for my 1 litre, (so not worrying about power gains) I wouldnt look at any other filter than the BMC.
