hartge
Hi guys,my car (mk1 Arosa 1.4 mpi) always starts 3rd or 4th time each morning from cold. Crank the engine then 2 secs later off, try again, same or just about gets the revs up and idles. (usually give it alittle throttle to get it going)I have had a full service on the car, changed HT leads, what else could it be or changed? Does anyone have a Vagcom around the Oxfordshire area that could check it out for me incase it has any errors?Really annoying every morning, when its warmed up properly it starts up first time!any ideas?Cheers Edited September 10, 2009 by hartge

hartge
just up update guys, I have changed the Coolant Temp sensor and it starts up 1st time everytime I still get a rough-ish idle now and again, im guessing something to do with the throttle body as it sometimes hesitates when accelerating. JDarosa
you may want to check the gap on the spark plugs as well mate cause they have been dropped at some point
