Tigz™
My house was built in the late twenties, so trying to find genuine bricks fom my area of the same year has been a nightmare! All done by eye, just like the house would have been done.Although if you check against the gate on the house across the road everything is level enough for the gate.Should have it finished tonight, looking forward to making the gates! IDGM
Very well done. I should give brick laying a go now that I have conquered my fear of plastering.
Tigz™
Its more enjoyable for plastering, no matter how much I did, I just couldn't get any better at it!
cobblers
Good man. I've tried everything myself - Rewired and replumbed my grans house. Fitted full new Central heating, bathroom and kitchen, even plastered a wall, laid a slate tile floor, built new stud wall etc. All turned out great. Then I tried sticking the corner brick back on our garden wall (using it as a workbench while smashing bushes out of some wishbones) and made a complete horlicks of it.Good job that man PS is that a shipping container on your drive? May I ask how much they cost? seem a cheap way of getting a garage - I been thinking of welding a pair together side by side
