Tigz™
25bhp jets should be fine not too use a bottle too quickly, should put any noticable strain on the engine, and your getting a 50% increase in power!
Arvid
But the extra hp from nos is dependant on the standard hp. If the car has limited power the gains from NOS will also be less than with a more powerful engine. But still it is an easy way to get power. Jabo
I could be wrong here but afaik this thing opens the flow of NoS, or charges the system and all you ned to do is press the big red button with black GO lettering on it to get almighty shove in your back style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
tdwindustries
no i think it colours the NOS jet
Tigz™
No guys it is of no use at all.All it does is release gas into the atmosphere, like 2fast2Furious, Saxos, Corsas, the list goes on... on a Lupo?I would personally come around and kick the owner in the head repeatedly. Jabo
I told you I might have been wrong on that one style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Arvid
Actually the thing servers a purpose, it releases the gases from the lines so the nitrous is ready to be used without being bothered by the gases. But unfortunately it has been abused by the MaxPower crowd to a toy for people with big dreams and small cars. Build a power engine, use a direct port 150 shot nitrous system and a electronic nitrous controller and the purge valve will be a useful extra! Tigz™
The main problem with Nitros is when the fuel mixture becomes too lean. This is when it will cause damage to the engine inners..A conroller will switch off the nitros when it sees the mixure becomeing lean, the bigger the jets, the quicker this will happen, so fitting big jets isnt always the best move.
