cardaft Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 (edited) Air filters can do yes, if the filter is old and dirty then less air can pass through it. Are you wanting to replace the air filters for standard ones?If so on the 1.0 there is two air filters located in the engine cover. Take off the engine cover (few scews i think) and they are on the underside. One either side. If your wanting an indiction kit thingy, then ive no idea Edit: while your engine cover is off it may be an idea to clean the throttle body, often makes a huge difference to the running of the car if its not been cleaned in a while.
