Paul R
Took off my door cards yesterday to have a look at how new speakers would fit. the current arosa speakers are sat in a plastic cylinder and riveted to the door. Has anyone taken this off, because the only way it looks to get it off is to cut it. Also what about the speaker cver. Does that just get pushed out? Al be getting new speakers n that probs in March so im just looking the now to see how it will all work.
Gavs_arosa16v
Drill the rivets out, they are soft alloy. You can always screw it back on using self tapping screws or new rivets.

little rich
i just took mine off with a hammer haha, just smash it of its quick and easy! left the rivits, im going to attatch mdf rings probably with glue and self tapping screws, and then attatch the speakers to themhope that helps,
mills787
sounds abit agressive that! im sure it would be more wise to drill the rivets out - then you can use the same holes for your new screws!
