I want to remove the heater controls and I think the only way is to remove the centre console first.Its not difficult no, just a few screws dotted about to take off, and two nuts underneath the gear stick gaitor.Yeah the heater control unit is screwed to the back of the console so it would have to come out. I had it done under warrenty though and I'm sure they just changed the cover Yeah they probably did if they were picking up the bill Mine was almost brown!
