dannywhiteley
Quick answer is yes (which is quicker than the (no) info I got when I asked yesterday).I found this helpful. I ignored the prices, but the brake disc size info was very helpful when choosing my new Sport discs - they're the same size as a mk2 gti I now know.http://www.needforspeed.co.uk/pages/sbv_pl...;PartType=BRB01

twisty b-road
Thanks for info (and link!)I need new disks and padsI've been looking at G60 280mm conversion, but they seem to be 22mm thicknessWould this be a problem, or can you get 280x25? Arosa_03
presumably if they are narrower it's not a problem as the brake pads would just come out to meet the discs anyway. just like a 25mm one that's part worn?
LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI
TwistyHi stranger, been a while!G60 discs are indeed 280 x 22mm. I have used then for the last 4 years with no problems at all. I use MK3 VR6 pads as well as they are thicker than the Mk2 16v Gti pads most people use.Never seen 280 x 25mm about. Clouseau
i guess you would have to replace your pads with 3mm extra material still left on them than you normally would if using 22mm discs. otherwise pistons are having to push too far or cant?
