  1. Hi, does anyone know what spec/grade the auto' box oil/transmission fluid is for the usual 1.4 auto that's in arosa/lupo's? Cheers
  2. I did a F355 day for my 21st, was amazing, I know top gear etc complain about flappy paddle gear boxes, but I had no complaints @ 120mph+ on a runway woohoo I also did a rally day a few years back and learned the invaluable skills of powerslides and hand brake turns.
  3. You could use a bit of software called powerstrip on your pc and connect via the VGA, the software allows you to use the optimal resolution for your TV (usually 1366x768 or similar) so providing your movie is up to scratch on your pc it should look spot on on your TV too. Microsoft have a page of HD WMV files to test out ... HD Video Samples style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />

  5. Think I'd have to go for The Who, some truly amazing records. alternatively REM could be close second
  6. been a while since I added one... this is from a last friday at a local festival. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  7. Good luck with the ride, definatley choose the tourer, and give it a good once over mechanically before you go, nothing worse than a failure over even just a squeaky crank if you have to listen to it for 100miles!!! I do the manchester to blackpool every year (only 55-60miles) on a hardtail mountain bike, but put the suspension to it's hardest and swap for slick tyres. Good fitting clothes are essential too and a good pair of gloves.
  8. nice, I can see the corner of the hotel from our office window, must have a walk along the river one day in the hope of catching a nice car in the carpark. keep seeing a lovely AMV8 on deansgate, black with black/silver numberplates, looks awesome. also nearly had a pedestrian to car accident with some idiot in a V12 AMG merc the other day, too busy polishing his white rimmed sunglasses the goit!
  9. i agree, it is getting a much needed facelift next year though and looks much better for it.... border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" />
  10. This maybe off the mark, but the DVD-ROM's not region encoded for some strange reason is it? should say on the box/dvd... if so have you altered the region of the DVD drive in the laptop using the 'system propeties/device settings.... etc' have you? this is a limited number of changes option (5 times I think) so be careful if you change it at all.
  11. LOL, yeah added a bit more flavour to my pint thanks! btw, it's 40mph limit down there! just so you know.
  12. Cheers for the nice comments, it was a shame to see the Arosa go, but as you can see i picked up something else just as tidy. and on the up side it's only done 14,500k and has 18 months warranty. @cardaft: the handling is great, lots of grip, although the previous owner has just put cheapo tyres on the front which I plan to swap front to back with the original bridgestones. fuel consumption is obviously a bit less although the trip computer reckons i'm doing 42mpg on average over the last 150miles. The rear lights are two fogs on the bottom and two reverse in the normal lights, I guess it's just a detailing thing but I quite like it. @g-man85: glad to see the wheels are getting lots of use :-). the t-sport's good compared to the tdi, throttle response is very good and the mid range torque is comparable to tdi maybe a little less in gear punch though, it'll just take time to adjust to the 'petrol' way of driving again I guess.
  13. I saw Al doing a boy racer getaway outside the Farrar's Arms, whilst enjoying a little midday sun. the wheels looked great Al btw. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />
  14.
