lupo_1.0 Posted January 9, 2007 Report Share Posted January 9, 2007 ok iam taking the piss sorry style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> nar for real tho just wanted to know a bit of info. i know it may look a bit thick of me but its just a little worry i have lol.iam about to remove the dash for a few different reasons, but i just dont like airbags, i havent had the best of luck with them.i know on a few cars the airbag sensors are under the seats but i dont seem to remember seeing any when i removed them.so basic iam asking is it all safe'o to remove the dash with out setting the airbag off if i just disconnect the battery.cheerchrisbim-bimmar who stole my nans zimmer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nfbr Posted January 9, 2007 Report Share Posted January 9, 2007 as far as i'm aware its completely safe to remove the dash, tigz has done it on his with no problems, mitch removed his, and iirc i dont remember darren or petrified having any problems with their airbags going off when they stripped their loops. I had no issues removing airbags but did it at arms length anyway. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> the drivers one is easy once passed the clips... the passenger one I removed after the dash was out. so you can just leave it there, just dissconnect it. beenie man Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
