Dblock
Hi guys and girls,Im looking for an induction kit but dont want to spend over 100quid on 1. Ideally i want one like my bros old car. He had a pug 106gti and his induction kit was like a ramair one, that sat at the front of the car sucing in cold air. Most people have a k&n one but in a place where its not any good, or people have a bmc which is far too expensive for me. Tigz™
Pipercross do a great sounding kit.As you say though, not ideal place, but to be honest, if you just looking for the noise who cares? But a cheaper version of the CDA kit is one of these.http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...3064&q=lupoDefenatly sounds better, heard things about the filtering aspect but if you want everything save up for a couple of months and buy a CDA style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Dblock
Cool so ive been loking into bmcs, 2 questions can i get the cda 2 thats the newer 1.How much does the mpg or petrol consumption change by having an induction kit. On ebay they said mpg goes up but i dont beleive them.
Tigz™
You'll rev the engine more, so you'll use more fuel.Your not getting any more air into the engine though, so your ECU wont up the air fuel mixture.Just a heavy right foot will cause that. angelo77
I have a pipercross one on mine,Sounds great, it also has the oil breathe pipe attachment on it, & you'll never need to buy another air filter for your car.you will use more petrol as it sounds much better when you put your foot down.RegardsAngelo
