Snowball
It's been a while since i picked up my ride, and have only just gotten round to giving it a good clean! So here are the results...The car was cleaned with Meguiars gold class shampoo, followed by an all over clay bar treatment. The whole car then got Scratch-X'd to remove a lot of the annoying swirl marks from the previous owners cleaning. Finally it got a complete waxing with P21s carnauba wax. The wheels were cleaned with Wonder Wheels (brilliant stuff!) and the tyres dressed with Meguiars Endurance Gloss. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />Don't have any plans for this baby at the min, but may get a stubby aerial at some point.Bumper strips were already painted and am thinking of keeping them on.Don't have any pics of the inside yet, although it is "Tim & Tom"-tastic!!Comments/recommendations are more than welcome as always...! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":coffee:" border="0" alt="coffee.gif" /> Edited October 29, 2006 by Snowball
MattyA
Looks really nice! I like Black sports. So is the stubby aerial going to be your one and only mod, or is it just first on a long list? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Snowball
Claying is really easy to do. Spray lots of the Meguiars quick detailing spray and just rub over with the clay bar, constantly folding the dirt into the clay. It's amazing how much dirt comes off even after a good washing! The paint surface feels like glass once it has been clayed. The clay itself lifts up contaminants off the surface, just give it a rinse off with water afterwards. Nice and shiny!Scratch-x (Meguiars as well!) was an experiment. My bf had heard loads of good reviews from his Civic Type R forum, so i decided to give it a try on the front quarter. It brought it up really nice, and smoothed out the swirls marks and even some of the bigger scratches. So we decided to go for the full lot. End result is the pictures! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
