coxylaad Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 hi, My first post on here, I have a lupo 1.4 tdi sport, and I have had a good look at it and from what i can gather its perfect for fitting a 1.8T. for a start its got a 02a gearbox, and already has chassis rail engine mounts, and a mk4 dog bone. Now I dont know what a normal lupo looks like but this looks like the 1.8T would drop straight in! I have not had a detailed investigation, but it looks very feasible, and i have built a 4wd r32'd supercharged corrado so i do have some knowledge how does the normal 1L lupos engines mount? a la mk2 golf?Ian Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tigz™ Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 Yeah the 1.0 uses the same mounts as the rest of the none GTI/TDI. Didn't know it had chassis rail mounts!
