montythemole
Somewhere like Eurocarparts would have them cheaper for the Lupo, presume same parts on the arosa? Try here: www.eurocarparts.com or even Halfords of Motorists Centre would be cheaper I reckon.
tdwindustries
120 / 2 = 60 quid a side30 quid for a disk, 10 for a pad and 20 quid for 20 mins work. sounds about right to me...
stig247
im sure mine cost me £15 each disk and about £15 fo pads say £50 for parts and £20 labour =70 odd quid, but depends on which brand parts the guys using
emo_gazz
My mistake, I paid £80 for two disk breaks and 2 pads that was including the labour.£40 was for the MOT I had to retake.......

tdwindustries
yep! (as long as its the same place and within 2 weeks)
emo_gazz
its MENT to be free of maybe a tenner at the most but this effin place didnt do it for free. Even if i took it some where else i would have still had to be charged for the MOT...
tdwindustries
yeah its not 2 weeks (sorry) check here (its da law!)http://www.ukmot.com/retest.asp
Mitchell
yep its supposed to be free but heres the catch, due to the new system for mot's the mot station can only submit one every 45 mins, so you are paying for the downtime at the garage for 45 mins that they cant do another car in, crap like but just think how much money the small mot st are losing if thats all they do, my mates place used to do on average 20 tests a day now he is staying open until 6 and averaging 9,
