ObjectiveAway
Its 085 gearbox, you can use any of them as long its with cable shifter, from Polo 6n2 or Lupo. The small 190mm clutch dont leave much place for upgrades. Edited August 29, 2022 by ObjectiveAway

mk2
Welcome and check the ultimate gearbox thread... Also weak points for extreme driving are nearside inner CV joint, rear beam around the rubber bushes, obviously front wishbone bushes. Other than that, tough little cars
Rugzybugzy
Loverly thankyou for that will uprate those bits as want this to be a long term motor as is a fantastic little thing, might have to address power when it comes to night rallys but will look into that abit further down the line
mk2
Yeah, and keep the rear suspension setup standard soft, as the back of the car is really light. Unless you like a hard setup with lots of back end sliding 👍🏻
Rugzybugzy
Hmmm lift off over steer ay! Sounds like abit of fun lol had a 205 gti that was good for being tail happy, bit of a surprise wen it happens the 1st time especially not expecting it from a fwd car
