Need more lows (Rear)

Recommended Posts

Hey @All. This is my first post on here!

I need some advice: I need my rear to come down 1-3cm more. Adjuster rings are out, Cup is left there. It's an FK AK Street :) Any ideas?

Took the cup out and seemed wonky and spring wasn't held by the plate underneath :(

German TÜV would fail that without an engineer's report... In fact most of the 'alterations' we do over here need paperwork in Germany.

@swaggerdon , how much work is it (papers) to change your brake system to a bigger one like G60's?

@swaggerdon , I can call the spring factory I listed above and ask them for you...? I'm also asking about having some new springs made for the back of my SDI. i can't get them here in the UK with normal/soft rating. Uprated or lowering is easy here. Then I can ask them if they could make the same springs shorter, but with slightly higher rating - and it would be ok on your TUV. They could supply the certificate.
